Privacy Policy

Effective: 5 August 2026 · RunCalendar is operated by Net Project Limited, New Zealand

The short version

RunCalendar helps you find running events and plan your race season. We collect only what the app needs to work: your account details if you create one, and the races and preferences you save. We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and you can delete your account and all its data from inside the app at any time.

What we collect

We do not collect your precise location, contacts, or advertising identifiers, and we do not track you across other apps or websites. Health data never reaches our systems unless you choose to connect Apple Health — and then only the workout summaries described above.

How we use it

Where it lives

Your data is stored with Supabase, our database and authentication provider, on servers located in the Asia-Pacific region (Singapore), with industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Sign-in via Apple or Google is processed by those providers under their own privacy policies; we receive only the identity needed to create your account.

Deleting your data

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account inside the app. This permanently removes your account and everything associated with it — your season, saved races, alerts, and profile — from our systems. If you have trouble, email us and we'll do it for you.

Your rights

Under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 — and, where applicable, the GDPR and similar laws — you can request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at the address below and we'll respond promptly.

Children

RunCalendar is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update this page and note it in the app. The effective date above always reflects the current version.
