Course

Loop course starting and finishing at the Upper Picnic Area at the base of Mt Climie, Tunnel Gully, at 10am. The 12.5km route uses forestry roads, mountain bike trails and single track on both sides of SH2, including Goat Rock Track, the Bee Line MTB trail and Taniwha trail, finishing on upper Tanes Track, with creek crossings and about 500m of climb. Aid stations stock water, Coke, nutrition, fruit and sandwiches.

The 12K Scenic Flight Fun Run is the shortest event at the WAI2K trail running festival in Upper Hutt, Wellington. The 12.5km course starts and finishes at the Upper Picnic Area at the base of Mt Climie in Tunnel Gully, using forestry roads, mountain bike trails and single track on both sides of SH2. There are no cut-off times.
