The Madison Ultra 50 is a high-altitude trail race starting at 9,587 feet on Monument Ridge in the Gravelly Range and finishing at Varney Bridge on the Madison River, covering exactly 50 kilometers along the Gravelly Range Road. It is part of the Greater Yellowstone Adventure Series, offering runners a challenging descent through alpine wilderness near Ennis, Montana.
