Course
A 2.4-mile indoor loop through the Chicago Auto Show floor at McCormick Place, passing vehicle displays, crossing the Grand Concourse bridge over Lake Shore Drive and running through Lakeside Center above Lake Michigan. The loop mixes straightaways, zigzags and one incline over the bridge. Runners cover as much distance as they can in one hour rather than a set distance.

The Miles Per Hour Run is a one-of-a-kind indoor race developed by the Chicago Area Runners Association in partnership with the Chicago Auto Show. This unique one-hour run challenges participants to cover as much distance as possible within the time limit, held on the show floor at McCormick Place.
