McDonald Forest 50K Trail Run

Course

A 50K starting and finishing at the OSU Forestry Cabin on Northwest Peavy Arboretum Road, Corvallis. The route runs mainly on maintained singletrack in McDonald Forest and climbs to McCulloch Peak, the forest's high point, before a pine-needle descent to the finish. Four stocked aid stations, with an early start at 7:00am offered alongside the 8:00am start.

The McDonald Forest 50K Trail Run is a 50K ultramarathon held in Oregon State University’s McDonald Forest near Corvallis, Oregon. Organized by Corvallis Area Trail Runners (CATR), it features smooth singletrack trails, scenic views, and supports local cross-country teams and mountain rescue.
