Course
The 3.1-mile route starts on a closed road at Front Street and Park Boulevard and enters Massapequa Preserve after a few hundred yards. About half the course is dirt and gravel trail and half is paved trail, before the route exits the preserve back onto roadway for the run in to the finish.

This race is run in memory of all Officers who have died by suicide, as well as to stomp out the stigma surrounding officers and first responders coming forward for mental health treatment. We gather yearly to remember these men and women we lost too soon and support those currently struggling.
