A road event starting at 200 Commerce Street in downtown Jackson, with distances from a 5K walk up to a 50K ultra run on sealed city streets. The marathon offers an early start and 50K runners slower than six hours begin at 4:30am. Proceeds support Children's of Mississippi.

Run the Rainbow for Children's, now past its 3rd running, offers 5K, 10K, half marathon, and marathon routes through downtown Jackson, Belhaven, Eastover, and the University of Mississippi Medical Center campus, passing the Kathy and Joe Sanderson Tower at Children's of Mississippi. Proceeds support Children's of Mississippi, the state's only children's hospital.
