Course
Twelve miles out and back on technical singletrack, six miles out to a turnaround and six back along the white-blazed Metacomet-Monadnock trail over the Seven Sisters ridgeline. Total climbing is around 3,500 feet across the repeated ups and downs. Runners carry their own water between the designated aid stations.

Established in 1991, this out-and-back 12-mile race follows technical singletrack along the Holyoke Range's basalt ridgeline, passing clifftop views of the Pioneer Valley. Capped at 500 runners, it is widely regarded as one of the toughest trail races in the Northeast.
