Course
From the Merit Academy track in Woodland Park the 50K climbs Lovell Gulch to Rampart Range Road, heads south under Pikes Peak, then runs the fast singletrack anticlockwise around Rampart Reservoir before picking up the little-used 700.A trail and quiet forest roads back to the finish. The 50K gains 4,137 ft and the 10K 1,126 ft. Five aid stations serve the 50K, with crew access at Rainbow Gulch, Dam and Lovell Gulch.
