A flat, USATF-certified city course starting and finishing at Downtown Plaza in Albuquerque and taking in Route 66, Old Town, the Bosque trails, the North Valley and Los Ranchos. The organisers put the marathon's total elevation gain at 51 feet. Community teams cheer along the marathon route.
