Course
Trail routes from Ambert into the Livradois massif in Auvergne, on forest tracks and paths. The 13 km climbs 320 m and takes in part of the Balcons du Forez course above the Forez valley; the 21 km adds a circuit around Saint-Ferréol-des-Côtes for 700 m of climb; the 41 km rises to the Signal de Mons at 1,210 m through the Bois Noirs for 1,300 m. A two-person relay shares the 41 km, and a 3 km children's cross runs beside the lake.

About
A magnificent course that uses parts of the 'Balcons du Forez' race. A first regular climb towards the statue of the Virgin and the Croix de la Rochette will allow you to reach the highest point at 770m with a panoramic view of the Forez. This will be followed by beautiful shaded tracks and paths passing near the former Bouy zoo and a very natural return to Ambert.
