Run on the weekend nearest the summer solstice, the Anchorage Mayor's Marathon follows much of the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail along Cook Inlet, with views toward the Chugach Mountains on clear days. Half marathon, 5-mile and relay options share parts of the course.
