Course

Both courses start and finish on the Downeast Sunrise Trail at Whitneyville, Maine, running a quarter mile of wide level gravel before crossing the Machias River on an historic railroad bridge. The 2.5-mile turns onto the narrow, twisting and sometimes muddy Homestead Trail single track; the 8-mile links the Homestead, Heritage and Munson Pitch trails through mossy spruce-fir thickets and along the river. Courses are marked with blue surveyor flags.

A confirmed date shows its day; a provisional one shows only its month, because we won't claim a day we don't have. This page is rebuilt every night from the RunCalendar catalogue.
