Course
The marathon starts at Russell and Camden Streets and finishes at McKeldin Plaza on the Inner Harbor, passing the Maryland Zoo and circling Lake Montebello, with a hilly stretch from mile 17 to 19. Sixteen water stops line the course; start 8:00 am with a 7-hour limit.

The Baltimore Running Festival offers a marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K on one race day each October. It traces its roots to the 1973 Maryland Marathon and became the Baltimore Marathon in 2001, drawing runners from across the mid-Atlantic.
