Course
Loop starting and finishing at 21 Park Street in Bar Harbor, Maine. The half marathon leaves town into Acadia National Park, running about nine of its 13.1 miles on the hard-packed carriage roads built from 1913, crossing several granite bridges through dense forest before returning to town. The terrain is hilly throughout. A Fall 5K runs alongside it.

Hosted each fall by the MDI YMCA, this half marathon and 5K run through Bar Harbor on Mount Desert Island, gateway to Acadia National Park. The race has become a fixture of the island's autumn running calendar.
