Course
An out-and-back run entirely on sand along the Gulf of Mexico shore near Port Aransas, starting and finishing at Port A Beachlodge. Runners pick their line between hard-packed sand near the water and softer sand up by the road. There is almost no elevation change, and aid stations are set every three to five miles, with longer distances repeating the out-and-back.
