One of America's premier road races, the TD Beach to Beacon 10K runs along the Maine coastline from Crescent Beach State Park to finish at Fort Williams Park by Portland Head Light. It was founded by Cape Elizabeth native and Olympic gold medalist Joan Benoit Samuelson.
