Course

Run on hard-packed sand along greater Mission Beach, based at the Mission Beach Outrigger Canoe Club on Kennedy Esplanade, South Mission Beach. The half marathon covers the full length of the beach through South Mission Beach, Wongaling Beach and Mission Beach. The 10km, 5km, 12km relay and 1km events use the same beach.

About

Beachruns at Mission Beach is held by the Cassowary Coast Multisport Club on the hard-packed sand of Mission Beach in Tropical North Queensland. The programme includes a half marathon along the full length of the beach, plus 10km, 5km, a 12km team relay and a 1km children event.
