Course

A flat out-and-back along the historic Erie Canal towpath, starting and finishing at Wide Waters Marina in Lockport. Runners cover about a mile of paved path before crossing the canal on a historic drawbridge and turning onto the towpath, with the turnaround at the village of Middleport. Aid stations sit roughly every 6 miles, stocked with hot food as well as drinks. The 100, 50 and 25 mile races share the course.
