Run and walk categories on a course the organiser states is on footpath at all times with safety cones, with all roads open to normal traffic and no road closures. Race HQ, start and finish at Berwick Waters Sales Centre, 157 Honour Avenue, Clyde North. Toilets and drink points are marked along the route, with a water and electrolyte refill station around 5.25 km.

The Berwick Half Marathon is run each winter in Clyde North, on the south-eastern edge of Melbourne. Runners and walkers cover a flat 5.25 km circuit on sealed footpath, with the roads left open to traffic and drink points marked along the way. Five distances start from the same base, from the half marathon down to a junior jog for under-sevens.
