Course

An out-and-back road course along South Shore Drive E on the shoreline of Crystal Lake. The route is a low-traffic residential road with a 25mph limit that stays open to traffic, monitored by law enforcement and a courtesy vehicle. A single 5K distance is offered, and walkers may cover any length of the course untimed.

About

This is BSR's major fundraising event of the year, with all proceeds going toward programs and services. The Blueberry Dash 5K has grown from the annual Walk-A-Thon of 40+ years. The route begins at the Bellows Park Pavillion (Frankfort) and follows Southshore Drive along beautiful Crystal Lake (this is an out-and-back route, with a marked turnaround).
