Runs through desert canyon terrain outside Boulder City, mostly on single track. Aid stations stock GU sports drinks, water and salty snacks, with hot meals served at base camp, and race-day entries are accepted until 30 minutes before the start. The 100-mile has a 30-hour cutoff.
