Bosworth Half Marathon

Course

A single undulating lap on country roads from Lakeside Lodges in Market Bosworth, starting at 9:30 AM on the road by the park barriers. The first mile runs on closed road and the route includes a climb up the Gated Road back into Market Bosworth, with temporary road closures in place. Finishers receive a medal and a banana.

About

A half marathon through the Leicestershire countryside around Market Bosworth, close to the site of the 1485 Battle of Bosworth Field where Richard III was killed. The route follows country lanes around the historic battlefield.
