Course
A rugged, technical trail race on Bald Eagle Mountain near Lock Haven, starting and finishing at Castanea Township Fire Company picnic grounds. Runners traverse Goat Path, Lightning Ridge, Gut Check, Black Diamond, Crossover, Fleming Way, Chestnut Flats and the Gorge Trail, including a notorious boulder field. Aid stations have strict cut-offs. 25K starts on 3.5 miles of road; the 24-mile course climbs about 6,000 ft.

Join us on a course that started all the craze here in central PA. The infamous boulder field awaits you!!!! We take on trails called Goat Path, Lightning Ridge, Gut Check, Black Diamond, Crossover, Fleming Way, Chestnut Flats and the Gorge Trail. Expect the course to be about 24 miles long with approximately 6,000 feet of vertical gain. We're also offering a 25K distance for those not ready for 24 miles, but who still want to tackle the boulders.
