Course

A 5K road climb up Brasstown Bald, Georgia's highest point, with about 1,700 ft (520 m) of ascent over 3.1 miles. The route is paved throughout and finishes at the summit. A ruck division runs the same course carrying 25 lb (men) or 15 lb (women) under a 2.5-hour limit.

The Brasstown Bald Buster 5K is Georgia's highest and toughest 5K road race with 1700 feet of ascent over 3.1 miles to the summit of Brasstown Bald. Hosted by Project 42 Running, it includes a ruck division and awards prizes to top finishers, with all participants receiving a T-shirt and medal.
