Course

Point-to-point through the Cango valley outside Oudtshoorn. The 42.2 km starts at the Cango Caves and the 21.1 km run and walk from the Ou Tol, all finishing at the military base sports ground in Oudtshoorn. A 4 km run/walk is also offered.

The Cango Marathon is hosted by the South African Army's Infantry School in Oudtshoorn, the Western Cape town known for ostrich farming and as the gateway to the Cango Caves. The marathon is the event's full-distance option.
