Course
Run entirely on Bald Head Island, starting at Old Baldy lighthouse and finishing at the marina end of the wooden bridge over the marsh creek. The half covers one and a half island loops and the marathon three, almost all on one-lane golf cart roads with a stretch of beach around Cape Fear each lap.
