A one-mile USA Track and Field certified course straight down High Street in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, starting at the Subway Car Wash near the corner of High and Orange Streets and finishing near Court House Avenue. Entries are split between an untimed fun run/walk, chip-timed age-group races and a team challenge of three to five runners.

About

The Carlisle Downtown Mile is a fundraiser for Employment Skills Center's adult education and training programs. All of our programs and classes are offered free of charge. These programs include adult basic education, GED preparation, English as a Second Language, and workforce development trainings such as Nurse Aide, Customer Service, EMT, and Computer Skills training.
