About

The 2026 Chemin-A-Haut 4 Mile Trail Run and 1 Mile Walk will be the 10th year for the event to take place. The event is for all that enjoy the beauty of nature. Organizers have set three goals for the Chemin-A-Haut Run and Walk. First, to provide a fun race, for everyone that enjoys trail running or walking along natural trails under towering forests, and along scenic lakeshore and bayou. Second, to enjoy the unspoiled beauty that one of the oldest parks in Louisiana has to offer. Participants will run the same route used by Native Americans centuries ago. Finally, to invest all proceeds from the event in projects to promote Morehouse Parish such as Chemin-A-State Park, Bussey Brake, the Morehouse Memorial Airport, the Rose Theatre a new Louisiana Delta Community College Bastrop Campus and the Bastrop Animal Shelter operated by the Morehouse Animal Shelter.

A confirmed date shows its day; a provisional one shows only its month, because we won't claim a day we don't have. This page is rebuilt every night from the RunCalendar catalogue.
