About
Chennai was once home to several hundred lakes, many of which were lost to urbanization or left dry and poorly maintained. The organizers partnered with EFI to restore the Kazhipattur lake on OMR, which is now full and home to many birds — a testament to the power of people coming together for a cause tied to the marathon.

A confirmed date shows its day; a provisional one shows only its month, because we won't claim a day we don't have. This page is rebuilt every night from the RunCalendar catalogue.
