Course
Figure-eight course in Cheyenne Mountain State Park with the start, finish and drop-bag area at the crossing point; the 50K runs two laps. Singletrack through grassy meadows and stands of timber under the granite face of Cheyenne Mountain, described as very runnable with a few well-placed rocks. About 4,000 ft of climbing for the 50K, with three aid stations.
