Chickamauga Battlefield Marathon

Course

Run inside Chickamauga Battlefield National Park, a 9,000-acre historic site 20 minutes from Chattanooga. The half marathon rolls gently without being steep and the 5K is flat and fast. Aid stations along the courses carry water, Powerade, fruit and first aid.

The Chickamauga Battlefield Marathon runs through Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Military Park in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, the site of the 1863 Battle of Chickamauga. The route passes Civil War monuments and cannon positions along the park's tour roads.
