The Chikugogawa Marathon runs along paved cycling paths beside the Chikugogawa, Kyushu's longest river, through Kurume Centennial Park in Fukuoka Prefecture. The flat, low-curve route offers half marathon, 10km and 5km distances suited to personal-best attempts and first-time racers.
