Course
The marathon and half marathon start together in historic downtown Athens and run through varied neighbourhoods, vibrant communities, university campuses and scenic greenways. The two courses split partway through, rejoin at several points, and share the last six miles. A 2-4 person relay covers the marathon route in legs of roughly 6-7 miles.
