Course
Starts at the Museum of the Albemarle on S. Water Street in downtown Elizabeth City and follows the Pasquotank riverfront before looping through the US Coast Guard Base and Air Station, including the runway when operations allow. The route passes riverfront homes, circles the WWII airship hangar at halfway, returns through the base and finishes in the historic downtown near Elizabeth City State University.

The United States Coast Guard hosts the Coast Guard Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K, 1K, and Semper Paratus Challenges in Elizabeth City, an officially designated Coast Guard City. Races run in-person or virtually and are open to all participants, including every branch of the military and the running community at large.
