A flat out-and-back along the Virginia Beach Boardwalk with ocean views, starting and finishing at 2nd Street on the Oceanfront. A water station sits near the turnaround. One distance only, the 5K.

The Coastal Edge ECSC 5K runs along the Virginia Beach oceanfront as part of the East Coast Surfing Championships, one of the longest-running surf contests in the world. Runners race the boardwalk while the surf competition unfolds nearby.
