Course
Starts and finishes at Abbey Field, a large open grass area just south of Colchester town centre. The route runs on level pavements and tracks around the garrison area, with some gentle slopes near the finish and a finish on a running track. Two intermediate water stations serve the course and road crossings are marshalled.
