A trail course over private farmland at Te Kauwae-a-Māui / Cape Kidnappers that is not otherwise open to the public. The route mixes windswept beach, native forest, waterfalls and river gorges with rolling coastal farmland and clifftop sections, with shorter distances following easier parts of the same terrain.

The Cape Kidnappers Trail Run offers an amazing off-road adventure through private land not normally accessible to the public. The course features diverse terrain including windswept beaches, native forest, waterfalls, river gorges and stunning coastal farmland.
