Course
Single-track mountain trails through meadows in the Gunnison National Forest, starting and finishing at Crested Butte Community School. The 50-mile climbs 8,301 ft and tops out at 11,291 ft; the 55K climbs 4,567 ft and the 35K 2,280 ft. Multiple aid stations are set along the course, with staggered starts from 6:00 a.m.
