Loop courses on the wide, well-maintained two-track trails of Independence Oaks County Park on Sashabaw Road, north of Clarkston. The 2.3-mile is flat and fast with lakefront views around Crooked Lake; the 5K adds rolling hills through hardwood forest with bridges and lake views, and the 10K runs two laps of the 5K.
