A road race starting and finishing on the CSIR Main Campus on Meiring Naude Road in Brummeria, east Pretoria. Now in its 33rd year, it offers 21.1km, 10km and 5km run and walk options on campus and surrounding suburban roads, with a 06:00 start.

The CSIR Road Race starts and finishes on the CSIR's main research campus in Pretoria, hosted by the CSIR Running Club. It's one of Gauteng's longest-running annual road races, with 21km, 10km, and 5km distances.
