Course
Both races start and finish at Mead's Quarry beside Ijams Nature Center on Island Home Avenue. The half marathon crosses the Forks of the River Wildlife Area, William Hastie Park, Marie Myers Park, Ross Marble Quarry and Ijams, mixing rocky technical singletrack with flowing mountain bike trail; the 10K stays on the nature centre and Meads Quarry trails. Aid stations carry water in very small cups, so runners are asked to carry their own. Four hour limit.

DIRTY SOUTH TRAIL HALF MARATHON, TRAIL 10K, and KIDS TRAIL MILE. The 13.1 mile course traverses the Forks of the River Wildlife Area, William Hastie Park, Marie Myers Park, Ross Marble Quarry, Ijams Nature Center, and other haunts of the beautiful Urban Wilderness of South Knoxville. A mix of rocky, technical single track and buffed out, flowing mountain bike trail.
