Course
The 40km flagship follows the KZN/Free State border west along ridge lines through mountain peaks and sandstone valleys, topping out at 2,341m at Baba Omkhulu, with an off-trail section before it drops into KZN and climbs to finish at Drakensberg Greenfire Lodge. The 20km traverses the Sterkfontein sandstone cliffs; the 6km and 10km stay near the venue on gentler ground.
