Course
A single loop of the city from Leeson Street: a downhill start through St Stephen's Green and the Liberties, the climb up Patrick Street to Christchurch, over the Liffey and into Phoenix Park at 6K along Chesterfield Avenue, out through Castleknock and Chapelizod to halfway at Dolphin's Barn, then Crumlin and Terenure before the long drag up Clonskeagh and Roebuck Roads to 35K. Downhill on Fosters Avenue and flat along the Stillorgan and Merrion Roads to finish at the Pepper Canister Church. Mostly flat with two real climbs, the second where it hurts.
