Course
Loop starting and finishing at Santa Rita Park on the Animas River. The marathon and half climb through eastern Durango past Fort Lewis College, head north on County Road 250, then return on the Animas River Trail. Fully paved, from about 6,500 ft to nearly 6,900 ft at the high point. Aid stations every 3-5 miles with water, electrolyte and snacks.
