About
The Fighting Blindness Glendalough Trail Run on 7 November 2026 includes a long and short course with scenic, challenging routes in the Wicklow Mountains. The 15km long course has only ~500m of the race on tarmac surface and there is approximately 600m of very mucky trail with tree branches to negotiate. Total elevation gain/loss of the 15km trail is ~450m. The shorter 8.5km route is a non-competitive event aimed at slower joggers and walkers and avoids the mucky section. This event is in aid of the Fighting Blindness Charity.
