Course
Two loop courses on the trail system inside Palo Duro Canyon State Park, both starting and finishing at Mack Dick Pavilion. The 4-mile runs the Comanche/Kiowa loop; the half marathon extends further past red rock walls, bluffs and cottonwood stands beside a stream. Footing ranges from smooth singletrack to sand, rock and short, steep technical climbs and descents. Multiple aid stations carry snacks, drinks and electrolyte mix.
