Course
A figure-eight course at Soaring Eagle Regional Park, run once for the 5-mile and twice for the half marathon. Rolling hills of short to moderate grade on narrow, twisty technical singletrack filled with roots and bumps, plus a short section of the mostly-groomed gravel Pipeline Trail that can turn muddy.

A sanctuary for birds, deer, bobcats, and black bear, Soaring Eagle Regional Park is also a quiet sanctuary for humans. Six hundred acres of forest and wetlands interrupt miles of suburban homes on the edge of the flat Sammamish Plateau and are host to 12 miles of trail that walkers, runners, mountain bikers, and equestrians enjoy.
