Course
A repeating 5K trail loop at Turtleback Rock Picnic Area in South Mountain Reservation, West Orange, NJ, used for the 5K and for 3- and 6-hour timed options. The loop mixes hard-packed carriage road with technical singletrack and gains about 300 ft per lap, with a rocky 200 ft descent at mile one. No on-course aid; water is available at the start/finish.
