Course
A single 6.6 km course run on the Constitution Trail between Funks Grove and McLean rather than on Historic Route 66 itself, which stays open to traffic. The route crosses Route 66 at three points and finishes at the restored water tower in McLean. Trail width rules out a mass start, so runners are chip timed individually.

About
This point-to-point 6.6k/4.1-mile run/walk starts in Funks Grove (shuttle service is provided from McLean to Funks Grove), with participants running or walking on the Mother Road herself to our new park under the old water tower in McLean, which was funded by previous proceeds from this event.
